Plant Life
A SHORT DOCUMENTARY about a plant geneticist’s mission to supercharge global agriculture — and cut climate change in half.
Plant geneticist Dr. Joanne Chory and her colleagues are on a mission — supercharging crop plants to pull carbon from the atmosphere and sequester it deep in Earth’s soil, potentially halving the pace of climate change. But time is running out. And it’s not just the ticking clock of ecological collapse: Dr. Chory’s has advanced Parkinson’s disease.
