Arya Rothe

Arya Rothe, an Indian filmmaker and co-founder of NoCut Film Collective in 2016 with Cristina Hanes (Romania) and Isabella Rinaldi (Italy), debuted with “A Rifle and a Bag” winning a Special Mention at the 2020 IFFRotterdam. The film has screened at over 50 festivals and was streamed by MUBI. She is a recipient of IDA Logan Elevate Grant and is a Chicken and Egg Pictures grantee. She has worked in various roles, including director, writer, and editor on documentary projects for platforms like Arté, RTBF, Netflix, and Amazon Prime.
