Aina Momona – Land of Plenty

Aina Momona – Land of Plenty

Directed by Sergio Rapu and Elena Rapu

Aina Momona –Land of Plenty follows staff members and farmers of KuilimaFarms as they work to build a model for sustainable cooperative agriculture in Hawaii. Through interviews and verité scenes, our camera will document the process of building the farm, training the farmers, and implementing the distribution network that will get their produce into local home. Interwoven throughout this narrative, the film will use key moments in our character stories to examine the larger themes of food security, economic stability and climate change.
