– We all know that we are what we eat eats
– But how many of us know that 95% of our food relies on soil
-Or- that Every minute we lose the equivalent of 30 football pitches of that precious soil?
-But.. you say…”what can I do, I’m just one person,” ….said as one of 8 billion people
Big ideas… But those were not what crossed Bumjoo’s mind at the doctor’s office in Atlanta, Georgia when she was first diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, an autoimmune disease. It was more like, ‘what do you mean I must take pills and not eat pizzas for the rest of my life? Seriously?’
What began as her “simple” quest to reclaim good health—and enjoy pizza again—led her to question her complicated relationship with nature.
Told through intimate interviews, stunning cinematography, and imaginative animation to bring to life Bumjoo’s back story, this film captures her journey from the acres of farms and ranches in the U.S., to Korea’s rich culinary heritage and the lush landscapes of Scotland.
Blending Bumjoo’s lived experience with a powerful call to action, Delicious Revolution is a vibrant, heart-driven documentary, with surprising science and relatable stories. An invitation to rediscover food as a source of joy, healing, and empowerment, redefining what it means to truly nourish ourselves and our world.
“3 in 4 are worried about climate change but the majority are pessimistic about solutions,” according to Edelman’s 2023 Trust and Climate Change Report. While fear-based messaging is effective in raising awareness, it’s time to shift the narrative. Instead of relying solely on facts, we are asking deeper questions about why change is necessary—tapping into values and motivations that inspire proactive solutions.
