Snow Globe
SNOW GLOBE explores the magic and meaning of snow through the filmmaker’s encounters with people unusually invested in its survival.
When his father dies and his hometown records its first snowless winter, filmmaker David Sampliner ventures out into our vanishing winter landscapes to discover the wonders of snow and why it matters. In forging a path through grief, he finds glimmers of hope for snow’s future—and ours. SNOW GLOBE is a poetic testament to how snow shapes human lives everywhere, and a plea to do all we can to ensure its survival for future generations.
