Tony Foster: Journeys

Tony Foster: Journeys

Traveling mostly on foot, by raft, or canoe English artist Tony Foster paints landscapes in the remotest of areas to bring awareness of wilderness destruction.  His passion for painting in dangerous locations has on several occasions, almost ended his life.  Tony’s adventures across five continents have resulted in 12 major exhibitions over the past three decades.  As an artist he is a bit of an outsider, as an environmentalist he offers a positive spin on activism.  The documentary follows this iconoclast as he explores threatened areas of the world, making his watercolor paintings in response to what he finds.   Produced and directed by award winning filmmaker, David C. Schendel (Yank Tanks, The Comedy Club).
