The Earth Lounge at Sundance
This year at Sundance we were proud to be a part of something new – the Earth Lounge. It was a day-long climate event with programming focused on the power of the creative community to advance earth-centered initiatives and conversations.
The Redford Center was a key collaborator, an event sponsor, and curated a panel called “Stories as Solutions: Answering the Call to Support Environmental Films.” The panel brought together our Executive Director Jill Tidman, and the director of “Path of the Panther” Eric Bendick, (a Redford Center supported film), alongside members of the HipHop Caucus, Pop Culture Collab, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation in discussion about the opportunity of environmental films and why it’s essential to resource them.
