Michael Preston

Michael is a member of the Winnemem Wintu Tribe and has been deeply involved with the salmon restoration efforts along with his mom, the Chief of the tribe – Caleen Sisk for over a decade. He is also an award winning filmmaker and a Co-Director of the internationally acclaimed film, One Word Sawalmem that played in festivals worldwide, won numerous awards, screened in schools, universities, UNESCO, and in over 15 countries.
